The natural beauty of dappled light

The natural beauty of dappled light evokes a feeling of joy and calmness. The ethereal light patternation results from sunlight filtering through leaves or other obstructions. It combines hard light (where gaps exist in the leaf canopy) with soft, diffused light (passing through leaves). Canopy colour ranges vary through seasons, enhancing, hues and intensities of the diffused light.

Dappled light in architectural design creates a captivating interplay of light and shadow, enhancing spaces with a sense of enchantment and enriching our spatial and visual experiences!

Architectural elements such as screens & pergolas, strategically placed gardens & foliage and artful exterior window coverings can manipulate the way light enters spaces, creating beautiful interplays of dappled light on surface.

Dappled light not only beautifies architecture but also influences our emotional connection to the built environment.
